Sadly, kite sports are banned at this beach, and windsurfing only allowed off-season, from October to March I believe. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Pay & Display car park. Great sandy beach with no groynes. Best sailed at low tide, but is far kinder to intermediates than Broomhill at higher states of the tide, as there are no shingle banks here. Shoredump is therefore quite manageable at most times, but again beware of strong rips and currents. A lot of guys walk their kit West (towards Rye/Hastings) about 100-200 yards before launching.
Some facilities (lifeguard, cafe etc) not normally available off-season.
